    • A TeleLife representative will call applicant to complete the full application (calls can start almost immediately upon submission)
    • The representative will schedule the paramedical exam and order any age/amount APS's
  • You move on to the next sale

TeleLife offers choices:

  • Paper - 2 page pre-application to complete and fax back (and if you want to get the applicant's signature - you can)
  • Web entry - online pre-application geared towards all who desire a paperless environment

Additional Agent Responsibilities

Beyond the automatic requirements, the agent will be responsible for gathering any additional information from the client or additional requirements needed by the underwriter to make a final decision. The agent will also be responsible for policy delivery.

Helpful Tips

It is crucial for the agent to thoroughly explain that a tele-interviewer will be calling them in 24-48 hours to complete the full application over the phone. The tele-interview only takes about 15-20 minutes. If the interviewer misses the proposed insured when they call, they will leave a message including their toll free number. PLEASE encourage your customer to call the interviewer at 1-888-800-6608 at a time convenient to them.
